"Truly that is a miracle of wonder surpassing the tongues of the eloquent, and far beyond the range of the most cunning speech to describe; the mind reels before it, and the intellect stands abashed."

-Ibn Hazm

Beauty can be a medicament to an exhausted mind or embittered heart. It comes in many forms, and philosophers & thinkers throughout time have pondered over what was its highest manifestation. The perception of beauty is primordial, and many people possess hidden storehouses that others may never get even the faintest glimpse of.

A Night of Beauty is a program that will feature; performances of Qur'anic recitation, emphasizing classical 'tajweed' - a large-scale Arabic calligraphy demonstration - as well as poetry performed in Persian, Turkish, Arabic, and many other languages simultaneously translated into English.

It is a streamlined return of an earlier event: 'Reflections of Beauty', that was held on September 8th, 2007. Those in attendence said it:
"...demanded the attention of the room & transported us to the heart of the culture."
"[A] Delight!" "Brilliant, Thank You!"
